Child Welfare Services
The Cabarrus County Department of Human Services Child Welfare division works to keep children safe, find family strengths and motivate positive change.
Mission And Vision
It is the mission of the Cabarrus County Human Services Child Welfare Division to provide family-centered services to children and families to achieve well-being through ensuring self-sufficiency, support, safety, and permanence.
It is our vision to embrace family-centered practice principles and provide services that promote security and safety for all. It is our vision that children in Cabarrus County will grow up in a safe, permanent, self-sufficient family where well-being needs are met.
Child Protective Services strives to ensure safe, permanent, nurturing families for children by protecting them from abuse and neglect while attempting to preserve the family unit.
