Carol Soles

Carol Link Soles became the Cabarrus County Board of Elections director in 2013. Prior to that, she served as a board member since 2000.

She’s been a certified North Carolina Board of Elections official since 2007.

Soles earned a juris doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School and graduated from A.L. Brown High School.

She also earned a Master of Music degree in accompanying and completed post-graduate work in accompanying at Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. She was a cum laude graduate of Salem College with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance.

Soles is an organist/pianist at different churches in Cabarrus and Mecklenburg counties, and currently is a pianist at First Baptist Church in Kannapolis.

She also serves as agency underwriting counsel/agency coordinator for Chicago Title Insurance anuujuyhd Lawyers Title Insurance.

Soles and her husband, Tim, live in Kannapolis with daughter Hannah.
