David Thrift

David Thrift has been with the County for more than a decade, serving as a real property appraiser, real property supervisor and manager before becoming the interim tax administrator.

Thrift earned an associate’s degree from Brunswick Community College, and studied business management and organization development at Appalachian State University and Mt. Olive College.

Prior to joining the County, he worked in banking, marketing and real estate.
