Richard Koch

Richard Koch has served as Cabarrus County Attorney since January of 2006 and has been a licensed attorney in North Carolina since 1978.

He has a bachelor of science in commerce, graduating with honors from Washington and Lee University in 1975. Koch earned his juris doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1978.

He was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review and has a broad background in litigation and transactional legal work.

Koch is a part-time administrative law judge for the North Carolina Safety and Health Review Commission.
