- Oven cleaner
- Nail polish
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Deck cleaner

The purpose of a Household Hazardous Waste Facility
Dumping hazardous items down the drain isn’t the only problem. Household chemicals thrown into the trash here in Cabarrus County are taken to the landfill in Concord.
Thankfully, we offer an alternative: Cabarrus County's Household Hazardous Waste facility at 246 General Services Drive in Concord. There, HHW can be reused, recycled or properly disposed.

We’re open for household hazardous waste drop off only on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of the month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and THIRD SATURDAY of each month from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
These hours are permitted by the state and are restricted based on safety precautions.
