Kate Sharpe

Kate (Parker) Sharpe has lived in North Carolina since 2007 after relocating from Florida. She studied sports management and business at James Madison University before joining the fast-paced sports event industry, managing hundreds of national and world championship events.

Sharpe was driven to create memorable experiences for families through events, so the Cabarrus County Fair was a natural fit.

The Fair has received more than 100 notable international recognitions and awards since Sharpe took the reins in 2010.

She’s an avid sports enthusiast and in her spare time she loves to spend time with her husband, two toddlers and the family’s dogs -- preferably at the beach.
