On the path to becoming a Notary Public?
- Complete forms and follow submission guidelines as required by the NC Secretary of State Office
- When you receive the notice to be sworn in, visit the Register of Deeds Office
- The Register of Deeds will confirm your paperwork, collect the $10 oath fee and perform the oath in the office that day. No appointment is necessary
