Pre Employment

As a part of the employment process, selected applicants must complete pre-employment screenings including drug screen and a background check.​ Background checks may include credit, criminal, driving, education or other records pertinent to the position for which applied. Employee orientations are conducted every other Monday to coincide with the start of each new pay cycle.

Pre-employment drug screens are conducted at the Cabarrus County Employee Health Clinic. Some positions may require physical examination and testing which will also be conducted by the Employee Health Clinic. An appointment will be scheduled for successful candidates during office hours.
