Personal Property Assessment

Personal Property includes all property, both tangible and intangible, that is not permanently affixed to land. It’s valued for taxation every year based on its market value on January 1.

There are two types of Personal Property:

Individual Personal Property, which includes boats, aircraft, mobile homes, unregistered vehicles/motorcycles, trailers, campers and RVs

Business Personal Property, which includes property that is used or held for a business purpose or for other income-producing purposes.
