Inside look: Cabarrus Courthouse expansion project
Hard to believe, but it's been a little over a year since the groundbreaking on the Cabarrus Courthouse Expansion Project and the progress is amazing.
While courthouse construction seems to happen quickly, lack of courtrooms and general overcrowding mean the project can’t come online fast enough. Once complete, it’s going to help meet projected court needs for the next 50 years.
Since the State charges the County with building and maintaining courthouse facilities, the County has given care and consideration to create a structure that redefines the downtown experience.
